Hi all, wondering whether you can run a marine battery in a truck? Google says yes and no, so would like to know you're thoughts. As ya mighta guessed, I don't have much of a clue on these things
... got a new toy coming which needs 1000cca so was looking at this: https://www.batteryworx.co.nz/products/ ... ry-31-1000 rather than going twin battery set up... Cheers guys

Re: Marine Battery in a Truck?
Should be fine.
Marine batteries are designed to take a pounding over the waves etc
So I would imagine bumping along 4wd tracks wouldnt hurt them either

Ive been running them for many years in the safari 2x750CCA Marine batteries. Was told they were a bit better at handling the bumps so went that way. Dont know if they any good at winching though??

Yep run a couple of these in a patrol no issues with them off road and winching. I skimped on the optimas for these.
