Another Suzuki onboard

Post by al889 »

Hi,

I'm Alan, live in Stokes Valley(Lower hutt) I have a 95 Vitara V6. I've had it almost 5 years now and so far have put on OME springs and shocks, Free wheeling hubs and a 35mm body lift plus replaced the exhaust with a home made setup(currently bent out of shape) and Mud tyres. Tow hook on rear only.

I've done a few trips with CCVC and the odd private trip along Odlins road as far as the hut. Nothing much lately. two kids under 6 seems to have put the whole 4x4 thing on hold(spending wise anyway + time)

Really wanted a 413 but got talked into something newer and more "Family".

Wish list:

Replace plastic bumpers with bars
Front hook
Snorkel
Difflocks(need lotto for that)

Anyway, that's me, Hope to get out and about sometime soon. See you around.

Alan :)

Don't have many pics of the zuk but here it is...

Currently running with AT tyres as the muds are too big and kill the gearing on the road.

Cheers,

Hi Steven,

over at Riversdale station 4x4 park on the road to white rock in the Wairarapa, we did a day trip and each truck took a passenger or two to help split the costs, was a good day but the camping option would be way better...

No $$$ for any mods at present but I'm keen for a look sometime. The bar work MrOffroader had done on the back of his zuk looks real good, my current tow bar sticks out half a mile.

Cheers,

Alan
