Wanted: LN130 Surf Rear Lift Springs/Coil Spacers

Post by smurf182 »

Hi all,

I'm after a pair of lifting springs or coil spacers for the rear of my 91 Surf. 2 inches of lift would be ideal however I will consider all offers.

Cheers

Stocks don't do anything that height, but I can get Cobra springs from chamberlains in chch, and they'll custom build stuff.

80 series cruiser springs and shocks fit and give between 50-75mm lift you will just have to measure them as there are different lengths ideal length is no more than 75mm longer than original length and you will have to put a longer brake flexi pipe on as original is to short with new springs

have just done this to mine

give Nigel a ring at Just Cruisers

Have a set of mint 80 Series Cruiser springs sitting in my garage as I type Smurf182 (dating back to the days when I ran an 80 series and pulled the factory coils to fit taller); if you're in Canterbury and interested drop me a PM.

Cheers for the offer of the 80 series springs but I don't want more than 2-2.5" of lift, reason being 2" is about the limit for a IFS torsion bar windup and I don't want to buy new shocks at this time.

Thanks anyway
