Lake Daniels/Thompsons Flat!

Post by 4X4ROB »

I can offer a limited number of places for a challenging trip to the above area on 24th to 26th September. This is located North of Springs junction! Limited hut accomodation but I always camp to wake up to the native birds!
Trucks must meet club standard with rated hooks front and rear, mud tyres minimum 31". Snatch strap, ropes etc, ground anchor and winch helpful!
Other tracks available if the river is up and we can't get there.
The hut has a log burner and lotsa hot water etc!
Lotsa full on 4x4, and lotsa socialising with great peeps!

Phone me ASAP on 0210433507 to book a spot as if insufficient numbers we must let a bigger group take the hire!
Cost depends on numbers but work on $50 per truck maximum. No limit on number of peeps!

Regards...Robbie

This might help you place the nick. How many short poms do you know that can lock their keys in the car in the middle of the high country with the engine still running :?:

This trip sounds really good but alas not for my surf. If my landrover on the other was going (it wont be) then I would be driving. I might be interested in coming along as a passenger though. It would of course have to be in the most capable truck so I don't have to get out in the mud all the time and dig! 8)
