Replacement rear window demister unit

Hi,need a unit for the big barn door on a Safari 24v.May as well do the little door at same time.Repco only had 12v unit.Maybe one of the trucking suppliers.Any tips on where else I may get this unit.And tips on getting rid of the old ones,and installing new ones.Haven`t tried Nissan yet.Booked in to get some tinting done.

The unit I was referring to,was the wire grid.

i used to work in a car yard and the only way i know of replacing those demisters is by buying a whole new window. ive tried heaps of places witth no luck!

thanx 4wdnuts.just found a website going on about using steel wool to buff up the wire.then using copper paint to complete the circut again.may give this a go.

could be worth a shot. i know that those metal strips come off easily with a scraper. maybe try that then just paint over the lines that are left.

The copper paint does work sometimes :? But it looks like sh#t, a replacement window is your best option.
