33" v 31" for Safari

Post by Sonic »

Can anyone tell me about the pros and cons of changing form 31’s to 33’s on a safari 4.2 manual? Eg – change in MPG, RPM/Power in top gear or just generally the feel of the gearing in relation to the engine on- road.

I notice quite a difference running 33's (mainly up longer hills, or accelerating to pass), but the benefits off road far outway the on road differences
