G,day from the Bay

Been lurking for a while and really like the feel of the site, thought it was about time I joined. Picked up a 95 Disco 1 300tdi about 6 months back mainly for beach use but it seems solid enough to use as a daily driver should my old Veccy ever die

The disco is pretty standard apart from some turbo tweaks and a second intercooler. It's presently on H/T tyres which I prefer for beach work but have got my eyes on some steel rims and A/T's for playing around off road.

Welcome aboard... I was a lurker for a couple of years before I got my Safari and got into the local trips and stuff.

Do you get out on any trips up there? Are there many people from the Bay on here? I haven't seen anyone organising trips or anything up that way??

Haven't noticed many Hawkes Bay people on the site, I think there's a club in Napier which I'll get round to sussing out one day. There are plenty of rivers and beaches to drive on which suits me as I'm into fishing. Looking at heading up to Ninety Mile Beach next month, wondering if any members can give me some tips about it
