where you see the flat bit that the spring pack mounts to under the diff housing, cut that off and weld a new one to the top of the housing so your spring pack can sit on the top......
if you cant weld or cut then you will be paying someone a lot of money to do this well enough to get certified for road use.

If you already know everything, DON'T ask bloody questions!!

Note: Samurai's/Sierras are basically same as 413's BUT there is WT and NT ones in aussi which are Wide Track and Narrow Track, most people prefer the Wide Track to do it on, and most of the older ones in nz <88 i think are all Narrow Track

i had my 413 converted to spoa.
i used the same springs just add a leaf at the rear to resist axle wrap.
torque bars will do. but that will be after you have done your spoa.
longer brake lines, longer u-bolts, you will need longer shocks.
make sure the drive shaft is aligned properly before welding the spring perches.
you might need driveshaft extensions.

If you can afford it, buy yourself a parts truck, or better yet, rolling chassis, and do the conversion on that first. then swap the bits over once you're happy. It makes things heaps easier, with much better access to all the bits and pieces, plus you can still drive your truck while you're doing the spoa. Do a rear disc conversion while you're at it. Like has been said before, get on the overseas bulletin boards and read up big time. difflock.com is another good one, English site with a bunch of helpful nutters
