Air Con Problem

Hi Guys, just recently got my 1993 terrano 2.7 deisel turbo, Air con and vent position butons not working, its an auto air con system, fan works and cold/heat settings work but can not change from demist to cab or lower floor settings,no air con, no lights on switches checked fuse etc ok.....just thought I would check for Ideas before I start ripping out all panel work.........

Mine is the same... Stuck on windscreen demist direction... I remember hunting around internet forums looking for an answer after checking all the fusees I could find and replacing the dash control unit to no avail...


I recall reading somewhere that there is another relay in behind the glovebox. Remove the glovebox and replace thi relay with a working one and it should be problem solved...

I may eventually get around to pulling mine to see if it's repairable, or replace it....

I think the button lights is to do with a fuse inside the control unit because the lights worked on my replacement, but didn't solve direction issue...

Thanks for that will let you know how I get on, will have to waite till fishing season over dont want to keep it of the road for to long.....
