LN130 Surf drivers door stuck locked

The door stuck locked last weekend which is uber annoying! Lock button is down hard and external handle has no impact.

Pulled the drivers seat out today and removed the armrest and pulled the door panel off enough so I could just peer into the door and see what was wrong.

Only thing was I couldn't see anything wrong, it was impossible to see what was wrong. I poked around with a screwdriver and the lock popped up.

I cleaned everything up and sprayed some CRC and then tested it about 20 times with no drama's.

Shut the door when I go to go for a test drive and it sticks locked again :-(

Anyone seen this before?

sounds like one of those shitty little annoying things that happen :evil:

When you figure out what is wrong make sure you post back cause it sounds like this doesnt happen ever :wink:

had asurf come into wk like that once.. where are you? its a liltle spring that breaks... hard to describe... i can get it open tho. im in petone if you want to come out.... 0294941325 during the day, 0274177461 ah....
