Offsets used with normal rims??????????????????????
Yeah, so I want to get some offsets (any advice for offset retailers would be appreciated, 15x8JJ, as well!!!!!!!!!!), but I'd like to know if I can use them together and so I can have a sixth spare with normal rim?? In case I get two flat tyres again. I have a Terrano R3M 96' for reference sake.

What exactely do you mean by offsets?
Do you mean just whitespoke type offroading rims? or just wider rims? or do you need rims that will move the tyres away from the hub to keep the actuall tyre rubber from rubbing on the suspension/chassis/body etc (or closer in rare situations) ie the center of the rim where you put the wheel lugs on is welded in a different place (offset).
This will make the truck wider (and more stable), keep the tread off the chassis/suspension, but also create more pressure on the wheel bearings and could increase rubbing on outer guards as it makes the turning arc bigger on the outside of the tyre...
Yes you can run different rims on wheels for spares, but few things come to mind
1) if you have offset rims to fit the tyres to prevent rubbing on chassis etc, when you put normal rims back on it will rub.
2) If you are mounting a tyre on a different width rim it may change the outer circumference /diameter of the tyre
3) Tyres all should be same size (rolling diameter) if not think carefully about what wheel you want to put it on... in the mud it won't be too bad but at high speed with each wheel turning at different speeds could damage the diffs. If you unlock the front hubs and put them on the front won't have diff problems but may affect steering/breaking...
so if you not driving far should be ok, but if your going any distance/speed not ideal... hope some of that made sense...

Yup, the whitesoke rims, exactly. I've brought some 31x10.5 Hankook RT03's which look like they'll be sitting very close to the bottom of the suspension, I'm sure whitespokes would at least help if there where any problems arising from this.
But, yes it might rub on the outer guard, could I not just get smaller flares???? I'm also going to get freewheeling hubs, which you mentioned.
I would be using all tyres with the same width and all with the offsets. I just thought that if I somehow had a flat tyre and my spares buggered could the steering, suspension etc. get stuff between driving to a service station???

Where abouts are you? most tyre shops should be able to get them in and i hear their around $60-90 rim normally... they should be able to help you with the offset, and width of the rim.
But yeh some 15x7's whitespokes with just a little more offset would probably do

depending on how much rub and how shiny your truck is, there is often a vetical seam in the wheel well (dunno about terrano's) which most people just flatten with a hammer to prevent it from ripping up their nice new tyres...
Personally i would drive to the tyre shop with a slightly different size wheel, but wouldn't drive any decent distance on it... (but i'm sure someone more experienced will put their opionin in too)

How much $ would a whitespoke with 95mm offset be, or would that be a bit much. Not much in the way of mods for R50 onwards from what I understand, so yeah, 31s are big without some serious bollocking. I'm no mechanic, but keen to learn.

umm have a look at https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html#fitting under backspacing... is pretty confusing though... from memory the most you can get easily is -28 (that will stick the tyre a decent way out) a '0' offset is quiet common i think. try measuring your exisiting rims to work out current offset and then just add a little to the backspacing and put back into that table to find new offset
Don't know much about the terrano's but thought you could wind the torsion bars up to give upto 50mm lift in front and fit longer rear springs/shocks or thereabouts... wait maybe that's a MU...
do a search around the forum under terrano lift or something...

I think I'll actually pass on the offset rims, as I'll be using this vehicle as a day to day, don't really have the time to change things around for a WOF and secondly, I really don't really get offroad too much to justify wheel changes!!!
Quite keen on the torsion/suspension lift though!!!! As long as I don't stuff anything up....
