Hilux Newbie

Post by skiwi »

Hi All,
As with every other newbie I've visited the sight many time and thought I should join up.
Done a bit of 4WDing over the years. A lot of sand driving in the Middle East and a little bit since moving back to this great country of ours.
I had a 88 Hilux with nothing special done to it, hindsight I should of kept it to play, with but traded it for the new SR5. Done a trip through Woodhill last year in it and been up the beach a few times but it no 'real' stuff. Maybe after a few more dings....
Only thing done so far was to put some BFG's AT's on it but thinking about a lift at some stage.
Also got a camper trailer which I'm converting to a more robust setup similar to the Aussie outback trailers so wouldn't mind a few ideas about good camping sites at the end of some tracks if anyone knows any in the Nth Is.
Cheers
Mark
