It's all right, Jerry just can't handle a Landrover. By the way I'd never try to pick up a chick in a ZUk or a Diesplatzu. Not even on Vivian Street!

We Landy owners just won't tell him the secret!!

Funny you should mention that!! A few years ago I was showing some young ladies around Wellington and they wanted to see the red light area. So I took them there as we were driving up Marion street in the dark, they could see a big Blue sign with a large white 'P' on it. The girls (from a rural area) asked what is the sign for? and jokingly I said, "Oh, thats stands for Prostitutes area". As we got nearer the sign, sure enough these were some ladies of the night sitting underneath the sign. So I said, "You though i was joking!"

But...you had to be there i suppose! it was funny at the time.

Yeah you are right.....I'd spend a fortune on petrol and replacement diffs and starter motors, not to mention oil (that leaks out)......plus everyone else would laugh at me coz I owned a landrover

Oh I see Jerry, you have an inferiority complex, judging by those comments.

By the way my petrol useage is exectlythe same my mate who has a 2L petrol pajero and I have a V8 and much more comfort.

Interesting eh? How the wrong stories get around.

I don't find it very bad at all. Did some running around and drove to rallywoods and back (up over the haywards and down the motor way so not low revs) and i used about $30-$40 for a whole weekend of 4x4ing and getting to and from the place.....well thats not that bad at all i thought. but it is worse on the road but i dont think its nearly as bad as some v6's
