2L-TE oil pressure sender

Can someone possibly direct me to the location of the 2L-TE oil pressure sender. My oil pressure guage has been reading... well nothing :!:

for some weeks now.

from (vague) memory its on the exhaust side of the block, low down and towards the back... metal canister, round about 50 or 60mm dia and about 40mm thick... one wire off the top.

Of course, thats a vague memory...

...but it should look like that, and it is on one side of the block... probably where I think it is, but have a look around... the wire is prone to crack and break, if it hasn't just fallen off.

Finally got a chance to look for it. It is exactly where you described.

The wire for it however... any idea where that would be on a LJ71 cruiser? I can't find any wires anywhere near the sender.
