hi dude you wont have a problem finding an engine but you will have a lot of trouble finding a bellhousing i think the one you need is a toyota w58 bellhousing . but i do have a spare engine in the work shop all ready wired up and ready to drop in ( 6m-ge ) same as the 5m but 3lt and running the 7m ecu but it is quite pricy :)

Ok, heres a deal for you.

$800 gets you the following:

1 complete 5MG-EU motor including remounted alternator to get it out of the way of the mud they usually die from and a remounted power steer pump (cos thats where the alternator ends up going :) )

This motor is complete including all anciliaries from electric fan/radiator to clutch INCLUDING rare as hens teeth bellhousing. Its also a nice quiet clean runner.

BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! :D

1 computer and loom, Supra model

1 computer and loom, Cressida model

1 Spare engine, no starter, alternator or power steer pump, but otherwise complete. Could do with new big-end bearings ($55 and about 2-3 hours work tops) and a new crank seal (I have one here somewhere but I think I lost it - they are about $25 from memory) and it would be good as gold.

1 complete exhaust

and all other related bits, inc. 2 airflow meters, hoses, pipes, and if you twist my arm the brand new drivers side mandrel bent snorkel to stop the doubling back they often have in the intake...

Give me a shout if you are interested...

Steve.

Well, I'd been thinking about taking it back to standard to sell it (assuming I like the MU offroad), and even if I keep it I'll be driving it to work, which is a bit mundane for such a cool donk, and expensive to run compared to LPG and a little 2l petrol... which is what it had when I bought it.

I figure I can still turn 33"'s and the suspension is still ultra-capable so it will be a good runabout/weekend warrior for me or someone else if it needs to be that way.

And I can't shoe-horn it into the MU - already measured it - no fit :( Lol... but hey, a lexus motor will fit :D

but thats another story altogether...

Can also supply an early 90's 7M-GE for around $1000 with bellhousing or a 94 Commo V6 complete motor, loom, box etc for $1200.. remember with the Commo you'll need some xtras to get it going

Lotsa options !!
