On the rear of the vitara we are building I need to cut the inner and outer guard back to raise the edge etc . Also I have heard the comments you can cut the guard but not remove material . Whats the deal there .Chris

There are some rule changes coming up but i think it is more to do with the running of the events.shell wrote:so with axle change to front end can you not instead of fiddles put disk's in the back and just use loss of traction to turn?
Im a bit lost with what you have written?? Im going to do a bit more reasearch into the disc rear before i cut the front out. Im not too keen on front fiddles, they load up the front end a bit much and do not help with traction as much as the rear fiddles will.
Just looking at the E Class rules it appears that you can
1. cut the guards to make the tyres fit - but no more - & sharp edges are not allowed (Shell)
2. fit disc brakes to the rear
3. get rid of the IFS & SAS it
& you can't
1. have tyres bigger than 33x14.5
2. change the rear springs
3. have any sort of lockers
