Newbie ute conversion.

Post by Athalus78 »

Hi all I've been absent for a while and now I'm currently trying to do a well body ute conversion to my 78 2 door. The small prob I'm having is developing a rear wall. Anyone now of any kits or have past experience.

There's also a couple at Mamaku 4x4 near Rotorua, one is a dark blue well-side conversion but is full of rust & is out in their "scrapheap" the other is a project in progress in their shed. If you're local I'm sure Marcel wouldn't mind you having a good poke & nosey at them to see how they were done. I have a double cab ute body shell - this hasbeen done by shortening the rear windows and keeping the tail gate.

Anyone know of a good fuel filter system for V8s. The standard paper ones seem to fail quickly these days,( prob crap fuel) so I'm after a good high flow set up.

Heres a few pics of the power plant after rebuild.
