not really a project as such

but i did find out a couple of interesting things apparently the 3.8 litre mercedes V8 from the 80s will bolt up to my gearbox which is nice to know
i also discovered the military g wagens have different diffs in they have a ratio of 6.18:1 i need some trhen i can fit some decent feet :lol:
my 4wd is not a truck

old mercedes never die but sometimes they do need some love

older cars are good,mercedes are better,older mercedes are the best

i would quite like some but after getting a rough price for a PTO i''m to scared to ask for the price of 2 of those
my 4wd is not a truck

Raises the question, do you need to call a wrecker, must be heaps of diff bits just lying in the desert :!: :!: :shock:

yeah one of the guys injured in the first attack on a g wagen over there is a member of one of the mercedes forums i browse

i really should stop browsing trade me

i found this apparently the 3.8l V8 from this will bolt up to my gearbox and it has 7 inch wide steel rims perfect for a decent set of rubber

merc V8s don´t rumble quite so much
they are so smooth and do rev quite nicely
