Repco have 'em, any spring maker worth his salt should be able to make em...

They need to be high-tensile steel...

Steve

PS: you should be beaten for talking about lowering ANYTHING Image

You could take the bottom leaf out of the springs and this will make the original u bolts to fit. (hope this sounds right) Otherwise just do what steve said and go to repco or another boy racer shop or a spring shop

And yeh whats this lowering aye??? Hahaha
Having to go on a big angle over every speedbump and curbs looks so stupid not to mention the constant guard rub soon as a loads put on the vehicle lol

hey again guys, cheers for the help, didnt kno repco did u bolts, and yeh i figured high tensile, always good to be on the say side and ask tho,and i kno steve,im walkin on a very dangerous line, lol, and nz hunter i kno what u mean bout goin over bumps n scrappin but my brother believes young people shouldnt get into 4wd,its a 'later in life thing' he says, but dont wory im hammerin it into him that hes wrong and 4wd is for everyone, kinda doesnt help that his main line is that they can be rather unreliable if u use them for proper 4wdrivn,with break downs etc and i try to fight back but i currently have a surf with a blown 3y so that kinda puts me back 1 step to start with, any ways, cheers again

oh and yeh fully kno what u mean nz hunter but it aint a small drop,im doin 4" blocks for him,its quite sad really,a nice reliable hilux single cab 2wd and he wants to sack it out

Yeh no worries mate.

Yeah im a young dude ( 18 ) and all my mates my age have lowered cars or utes etc (bar m8s in chch). So when I turn up in my big surf, the amount of looks and thumbs up etc I get is wicked because its soo different to what they're used to as well to take the piss I go really slow at a huge angle over speedbumps lol

Bugger to hear your truck has blown its engine, Im sure we can sort out a supra or 1uz lexus v8 engine to chuck in it
