We'll see what we have here. We may have about 6 orange cones from when I used them for hockey practice. Will see if I can dig them out.

Idea of the cones is that if you run over it, it shouldnt remain squshed, unlike pegs which break.

Seems like all went well, except sadam nearly loosing his head after daisys tow hook ripped out of the chasis   ,
cloggys landrover loosing a brake line, redzooks, zookie busting a mirror and loosing a flair. partially my fault sorry.

a couple of take alongs too, 2 vhicles stuck in the car park, jerry and one of the tag alongs, oh and a broken exhaust.

Mr O as usual got dumped in a mud hole for being cheeky again.

and the amazing truckie showing off and, marks and handbrakes whale showing its climbing skills again.

enough rambling, pics time, got some video, just need to resize

Just on this towhook issue....

Here is the hook that came of Daisy's truck...unrated factory hook and mount
Image

Here is where it came off
Image

Here is where it hit Saddams window
Image

This is the damage it caused
Image

GET YOUR RATED HOOKS SORTED and GET THEM MOUNTED PROPERLY ... if you need help ask !!!! This could have been an ugly incident...if Saddam was driving a Shinier vehicle then the hook would have hit him in the head as it passed on thru the front window.

I may start insisting that hook checks are mandatory on ALL ORE Welly trips in the future (whether these are Assn or non Assn ones), all other clubs insist on proper rated hooks and this incident shows why. It doesn't really matter if you are an Assn or Non Assn member you are still part of ORE. just remember it could have been your head that it missed.

I would like some thoughts on a rule that you can do 3 shiny trips with non rated hooks, after that then they are required....

Anyway thats that out of the way...here are the rest of my pics

You were hassling me all day (and Turoa), and you were lucky that Warlord didn't throw you in the deeper wetter bog a bit further down (the one I wanted to throw you in   and why were you and Turoa pushing my Daihatsu with the handbrake off

So thats 1 bog each I need to push both of you in on the next trip....look out.....

Yeah Jerry, you weren't flavour of the month when you put Olly in the landrover, but made it up to him when you gave him chocolate! You might earn yourself a dodgy reputation though if you start giving little childrens sweets all the time!! :o
We had a great day too. Great company and good fun.

I had a good time. I think Jerry was a tad humiliated about me driving his rugger through a hole which he himself couldnt get through without getting stuck first, and lots of right foot

Turoa is lighter than me.....that minute weight difference must have been enough to make the difference....it must have been all that chocolate I ate
