BBQ night Tuesday at 4wd Accessories

Post by mike »

Hi All,

The ore association is having a bbq night tomorrow night (Tuesday Night) at 4wd accessories where you get to put your vehicle on the ramp, watch some vids, talk some shit, eat some meat, drink a couple of beers and have a good old boys night. Anyone is free to come along.

When -> Tuesday 3rd of April
Time -> 6pm onwards (its a bbq so bring your hunger)
Where-> 4wd Accessories at 172 Montreal Street

Great chance to have a meet up before those all going over to the coast at easter.

BTW this is christchurch :wink:

Sounds good, I'm not an association member yet, so just checking it's OK to turn up.

I know it said that, but I thought better to check, rather than turn up and look like an even bigger plonker. :lol:

Couldnt make it bugger it, had to wash my hair, nah really had no power steer fluid in the truck after replacing the box seal last night, went to fill it up tonight, only to find the dam container was empty.

I'm keen to test my suspension on the ramp, so will try to jack it up at a later date.

Nah, gone for wranglers and when the Silverastone contract is signed sealed and delivered ( approx 6 mths) I will get a set of them as well. Will use the wranglers for road use and river work. Silverstones for more aggressive type driving.

Yeah but he had his tyres deflated and lockers engaged. I wanted another go with tyres down and locckers in. :lol:

Great night - very motivating... I've come away with lots of new ideas for the BigDick project... watch that space...

Thanks Rick for being a great host - and thanks to all for showing up and making it the great night it was...

Oh, and a great Job by Jase (H2O) for getting the best ramp travel of any of the red 70-series landcruisers with their FRP tops off that were there :lol:
