There is a god in heaven , just seen the new 70 series wagon, a no bullshit 4wd, with a 4.5l turbo diesel, solid front axle, snorkel std, and $2k get you factory f&r difflocks.options include no airbags, no abs,no ice maker and electric windows only on the high spec model. thankyou mr toyota, I'll forgive you for the new hilux.

Yip, I must admit the specs make it a very nice wagon. What an awesome engine, maximum torque (and there is lots of it) reached at just 1200rpm. And it's a V8, and who is not going to buy lockers at just 2 grand?
The new nose may take a bit of getting used too and doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the truck, but hey, you can't see this when you are behind the wheel enjoying all the goodies.
