whats gone wrong with it? Some good diesel guys are DSL (diesel service ltd) they may know of someone.

Gotta keep changing that oil bill   Just dont change it so often it removes all the build up around the rear mainseal causing it to leak!!!!!

 yes bill a common fault,i have a 1kz and im running a steel shaft ballbearing off a latemodel rodeo, ive also recalibrated my fuel pump ,top mount intercooler ,3 inch pipe and few more secrets i wont give away  being a heavey deisel mechanic ive got the gear to make em fly :D dynoed at the rears 119kw @2050rpm/ running 15 psi and as for td42 nissans they take a fancy to my tail lights  as for the front diff no worries, ive put a solid axle under her ,yes not many surfs like it around

you dont need to do anything do you bill, yours is a solid axile :? unless of course you want to convert to IFS then we can swap front ends if you want

Do the turbos not have steel shafts in them at the moment for the 1kz? Maybe I should machine one up now in anticpation of it going

Just another thing to add to the list of the breakages for the surf. I'm sure the the series 3 was more reliable

Got any IFS surf diffs float around toyking? Mine kinda shat itself in a big way  trying to get up a hill that the series 3 LR did in two wheel drive a couple of years back
