Does the roads/tracks actually join up?? I didnt think they did? :?

Sorry i was meaning the road from Monowai throu to the south arm of Manipori. I think it's a service road for the pylons.You used to be able to get a key from a local resident.

yep the borland road sorta area, you getta key from gary tong me thinks
if your heading through in winter

Yep, thier right, Gary Tong is the caretaker at the Borland Lodge and yes he has locked the road at this time.....

Seems that since the Pylons have been maintained by chopper, the roads condition became quite bad and general travellers were having problems...

Also it would seem that some members of the public used it as a play ground and started taking quads up into the bush.

The Borland Logde is in the White Pages so I will put it on this reply..
