Some New photos of Thompsons Track mission on Saturday

Post by suzukisam »

Hi, I have dropped some photos and vid files in my suzukisam album.

Enjoy.

Gareth from Wellington showed me how his little red zook compared with mine. We got through the track in less than 6hrs, a personal best, but then we didn't have any beached whales to drag through this time....go the zooks

we were out of the track by about 4pm, a side trip to katikat to blow up the tyres and the zook decided that it ws infact a tough day. The engine was cutting out, seemed to be a fuel or electrical prob, last night I pulled the carby down and there was a lot of crap in it, but still not convinced i've solved the prob yet.

we only saw a couple of motor cyclists that were moaning bitterly about all the idiots that threw logs into the bogs, and I had agree. Nothing worse than dragging logs thru bogs...

Yeah my camera doesn't have sound on the vids, nothing quite like a sewing machine engine doing 6000rpm in a bog...

Was a great trip though, just gotta dry the carpet now...

cheers lest
