Post by mudlux »

What are they worth and are they easy to replace if you do a lift ???

when you do a 2"spring lift do you have to go to longer shocks??

Do you have to use hilux spacific parts or are there other parts that you can use??

Cheers for your help , Its my first time , be gentle...
D.I.Y means destroy it yourself dosnt it ???

front 50mm raised springs are $280 inc gst per pair - they have just come through with a massive price drop.

Rears (50mm raised) are also cheaper now at $330 inc GST per pair.

The bolt straight in with no need to replace anything other than worn out bushes (which in reality you will probably have).

Bushes are $19 per bag of 4 Urethane ones, no price on rubber sorry. There are 24 bushes in all on the truck.

Greasable shackles (and also greasable pins) are $25 each, front or rear (I have no idea why, but they don't sell them as a pair...) They are not extended, just greasable. I can make a full set of extended ones for $295.

Hope this helps, feel free to call me on 021 637 600 if you want to discuss it further. Also if you are in Chch then give me a shout and bowl around to the shed to have a look at how its done, or feel free to donate beer and chokky biscuits to the shed fridge and use some floor space to change them :)

regards

These are MaxiTrac. Had major problems with Ironman quality so dropped them, and can do Dobinsons but they are too expensive compared to MaxiTrac.

Made in Oz, btw...
