back in 2005 some ORE fellas did a trip thru Minganui

is anybody interested in a trip there again?

Has anybody been there recently? do you need permission to access the area??

I'm keen for a trip in there. Havn't been down there in a while. Where exactly are those pictures taken in minginui? ( what tracks? map...) I know quite a few good places in there but the entrances are hard to see....

only Info I have is from Andy C's book.

did a trip with 4WD magazine crew back in 2005, but it seems to be a lot of tracks thru there and would probably easy to get lost :oops:

does anyone have any info on ths area????????????????????

sounds like it would be a good trip, when you thinking of going, will have to work harder and faster on the little bits for the wof on the truck so i can be the one with the supra singing in the mud, touch wood :lol:

its about 1 and bit hours from Rotovegas..is pretty isolated...is part of the Whirinaki Forest Park

I would be very keen but im talking at least 1 and a half months away. oh hold on. I was thinking of the maratoto loop. Still keen for a minganui trip though if someone knows where all the fun stuff is in there.

Goose if your in Tauranga occasionally I would definately recomend a trip around tieries (buggered if i know how thats sposed to be spelt) its an hour out of tga, half way between katikati and paeroa.

Gidday Ben,still got the red wreck (got a new white cab)new name, white trash.I will post the lake Rerewhakaaitu School Rugged Bush Bash (30 june/1july) when all the details are sorted.
