conversion 2.5 t in to 2.8 t need help may have big problem

hi guys i am new to this and have a problem and need help please
i own a 1989 pajero with a 4d56 t auto and now own as well a 1994 pajero 2.8 tubo auto with blowen engine so want to put 2.5 motor and auto into 1994 can you tell me if this is possible cheers for help

You can do just about anything but I am pretty confident it would be cheaper to source another 4M40, 2.8. The transfer cases are quite different - I take it the 1989 one will not be the full time 4WD Super Select. The front diff is designed to operate with the Super select.

Not to mention it would be terribly underpowered......
