How much work was involved in doing the body chop? Looking at getting a rolling body to turn into a ute, but will have to get a panel beater to do the work for me
It isnt a huge job its just a matter of working out where you want to chop and go for it. Then make a rear wall and peices to fit and your away. Talk to a certifier first if its goign to be road legal though as there are a few things that are a no no's when it comes to ute chops.

Sounds wicked Doddzee, nice deep rumbling. Should sound wicked in the mud on full sound.
What exhaust did you go with?
Cheers
Matt.

Its got a straight though 3", only one muffler and it pokes out just behind the cab on the passengers side.
Im looking at selling project scudo so it can help fund a front locker and reduction gears if anyone is interested let me know.

Got the truck out on its first trip yesterday and it went without a hitch, ran fine and has heaps more power than i expected. It drove everything i pointed it it at so im pretty happy with the result.
Pics (sorry not the greatest, was having too much fun driving it to get photos) and a small vid:

Holy crap what a beast
You are going to have some serious fun in that
and the best thing is you built it
That so deserves front page unless you dont want to bring attention to it (security reasons etc)

Thats one awesome truck (even for a Nissan) but the saving grace has to be that lovely Holden V8. Sounds amazing and looks like it does the job to. Well done and i look forward to seeing more vids of the beast in action.

I now have an unexplainable burning desire to go put the 304 in my Isuzu and get the bloody thing running... had the bass turned way up listening to that and I'm still grinning
Good work!
