hilux shocks?

Post by nzdncjw »

I hear.... that Toyota Hilux shocks will fit in the rear of a Daihatsu.... Is this correct? I remember reading it somewhere... but can't remember.... Brand new shocks would be ideal but on my budget at the moment.... to get more suspension travel, I hear the hilux shocks do the trick.

Thanks!

howzit i've done that to mine as well as resetting the springs and wound the torsion bars up 65mm+ height gain able to run 31"s now just. the hilux shocks work a treat just dont get short 1's also u'll have to change the bushes in them as i think the shaft size on the hilux is different.
putting them on mine has taken the stiffnes and bounce out of the ride and has made it feel much better to drive or so i believe.

i suggest that you spend the money and get the rearsprings reset as by now there probly getting stuffed, and crank the t bars up to even the vehicle height out then throw the hilux shocks under it u'll b amased at how much better it is.

yhen if you do this remove the anti sway bar as well

if ya want to discuss this in more detail give me a ring some time on 0274202727
