I'll be there, I'll be with the Guy bros, I can't wait. Looks like the weather might even be kind, maybe.

Cheers, Jeff.

My bro was at it again, taking heaps of pics, soon to be printed and also all for sale to competitors (or anyone else for that matter) to help fund his photographic addiction

Drop him an email at ishotimages@gmail.com if you're interested, or just want to be added to his mailing list.

He's uploaded a few samples for your viewing pleasure at...

Jono was competing in the 'outlaw class', a one-off class for trucks that don't comply with the 4x4Challenges rules. So nope, you can't have a rear mount radiator.

The outlaw class was something thought up by Pete Weatherly, the organiser, and as their were only 4 or so teams competing in the outlaw class with Jono being the only non-local, it's unlikely the class will ever be run again.

The latest version of the 4x4 challenges rules will always be available from http://www.4x4challenges.org.nz if you're looking for them.

Was an awesome event, but some of the tracks were pretty unforgiving on panelwork on larger trucks like Patrols / Landcruisers!! Our truck never did look too flash in the first instance, but it looks quite second-hand now.

Hopefully Pete will run another one in the future, would be a shame if it were to be the last.

Looks like mudhaw mind need to get a GU frontend or something

I did see on outerlimits that someone was going to be making ultra tough GQ CV's. I also saw that someone was thinking of making a hybrid GQ-80 series housing so they have really big diffs AND CV's.
