Dirty Weekend - Queens Birthday - Rallywoods Wgtn
Bloody awesome. Good work Jerry getting the Cruiser club involved.
I too would be keen for anything that comes along out of that. Plus it expands the territory and options.
With regards to getting non-road legal vehicles in there - if anyone in Welly needs a tow, I have got a car trailer available. PM me if in need.

What.....so everyone can break everything before they even get there!
Jokes aside, that may be a could thing to have a "quiet" play and just to check everything is running.
There called shake down tests.....so people who have just finished projects (me and tu's) can test our trucks are going to work and if they break we have 2 weeks to improve them

Ok Sunday trip into the Aka's/Karapoti is all organised, I will sort out the trip sheet for the insurance, non 4wd assn members will be paying a visitor fee to cover their day insurance (join up now ...just click on the store...there will be more of these trips happening in the future...), route depends on how many shiny vehicles there are. I think there is a $15 access fee for all vehicles going in but will confirm this. Will meet up at rallywoods and go in thru there.
YOU WILL NEED : 1 Rated hook Front and Rear mounted securely.....these will be checked, fire extingisher 1kg min, shovel or spade, first aid kit, rated recovery strop. NON COMPLIANT VEHICLES ARE LIKELY TO NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO (Give Marty aka Stinky a call on 384 4141 if you need your hooks sorting)
I expect good conduct on this leg of the trip as well from ORE members, so we don't go in any bogs without checking or split up etc ie we keep to the convoy etc.....If there are such problems then I won't bother organising any futher interclub trips....please remember its not private land like rallywoods so there are places we can and can't play.

Im sure there will be a couple of spare seats around for some people with non-compliant trucks to hitch a ride.
There is a small possibility that i will be an ARAC trip leader by then if so and there is the demand we could run 2 trips in there, hard and shiny.
MWB V8 Safari Ute
I have suggested that its a Shiny / optional tough bits trip..... Re Trip leader thats already sorted....so it caters for both groups.....if this is the case then the hook requirements will apply for those going into the optional hard bits.
If there is demand for 2 trips let me know and we can organise it....I'll have a chat to you at ccvc clubnight tonight re this doddzee...

Hi. We also use our truck as a tow vehicle for our boat, so are in the same situation. We have done HEAPS of trips now, and there are always options for the hard bits. You can't avoid the few scratches here and there from gorse etc, but other than that you can pretty much just follow round, do the easier stuff and then watch the other guys (stinky, Sadam, etc etc) do the crazy stuff! There is plenty of entertainment. We bring our two kids, one is almost 3 and one is 18 months, so everything that we personally do is able to be done with them in the car. I hope that answers your question. No doubt, even if you wanted to come and jump in with someone else so that your truck didn't get broken, that wouldn't be a problem either I don't imagine.

You'd be a brave man to follow handbrake and mark where they take their whale full of kids Basic's
you want to come along even if its only for a day to have a look and assess things for yourself, and as handbrake said just start easy and don't get yourself somewhere you don't really want to be
