eight wire for added safety??
Jerry's new truck
OK Prado update.....
Front 1kg Fire Extingisher is in, important things here are to make sure they are secure....this one has a metal catch, there is also a velcro strap around it to support it....if yours has a plastic catch replace it with velcro Also its mounted with bolts/washers/nuts....don't use self tappers here...ideally these should be within easy reach of the driver etc.
no idea yet where to mount the 2kg in the back.....had a look but wasn't happy .....thinking about a custom box for the back.....looked at mounting the other 2kg in the Zuk but with all the plastic in the back I'm still not sure yet....may have to start pulling plastic panels off and seeing whats underneath.
4wd problem was the STUPID TOYOTA ELECTRIC HUBS.......got a spacer kit and some manual hubs, warn ones
will look around for a set of aisan ones as these are better....anyway here are the pics....
This was the RH electric hub which was the worst
Spacer Ring on the bearing, the studs were removed as well
Use a bolt to help line up the shaft
New manual hub goes on and hey presto I have 4wd again
Still a couple of jobs to do...the Oil filter was changed and then the oil pressure guage stopped working....the guage works and its not a dodgy filter, Andrew thinks its the oil pressure sensor. new cambelt and belts and waterpump have gone in. learnt heaps today...... more to follow...

May need some reinforcing (aluminum or thin sheet steel) behind it to secure it there and give an anchor point.
Just a thought
All seems to be going well with the rest. Those hubs look rather neglected in the past dude
Edit:
Ooops sorry - Barn-door style rear - Go for the Left Side Rear pillar - hinge side I know but - HEY - easiest access

Thats fine...it will hit the person in the passenger seat first and that will not be my problem
,.... anyway I'm hardly likely to roll it climbing kerbs and driving thru small puddles at the Wainui Mall
No its secure ...its TOYOTA plastic and thick, there are washers behind it as well and I put bigger screws in the tray so its even more secure.
