Bill >>> have you put your lockrites in your diff's yet & if so whats the front like when you drive tight tracks ?
I have dropped my 13BT ,14BT or 15BF conversion , my original plans were to keep it light & if i drop a B series in it , it will be a friggn tank . I realised if i spend shitloads $$$ on it & won't ever see it again when go to sell it as moving back to OZ sometime next year , if not the next & who knows i may come back as the outdoors is wicked here .
will be doing the driveline 1st as it needs it , then work up& who knows . seeing Clints 1uzfe coversion & others gives you ideas as they're all alloy engines & gettn rid of road users tax ( diesel ) over here would be great .pain in ass a bit as don't have my gear over here , bugger all if that !

Have a Lock-Right 4 pinion auto-unlocker in the front end of my KZJ-71.
Can state with conviction that it makes absolutely NO difference to the turning circle in my rig. Every time I drive up and down my ski-hill on the summer only track I use all the lock I have on seven hairpin bends. I have to drive very precisely to turn each corner in one go and that did not get any worse after fitting the Lock-Right.
If I have the Electric rear locker engaged it is quite a differnt story however although on Ice or deep snow with the chains on all round It turns as though the e-locker wasnt there, except for the added traction of course.
I do sometimes have difficulty getting the front end out of deep clay ruts if I need to drive across them, but I think a conventional front end would still give grief given the state of my 1/2 worn BFG MT's.
Go the front locker first as they pull you through stuff.
