Wheel arch flares for 70 series

Post by xorph »

Hey Guys,
need to put some flexible flares on my 70 series. Dont know much about them. Ive seen ones that you stick on with glue and luck, and ones that screw on. the side of my cruiser is always rubbing against ruts so they need to be tough (i.e not rip off), but i dont want to get rust in wheel arches...(well its a cruiser, they are made of rust-scratch the paint and the rust falls out)
Dont want to spend too much money either....
Any good/bad experiences?

When i put flares on my old terrano i went to a rubber shop and got 5m x 120mm of thick threaded rubber for $60 enough for all 4 and some left over.
Repco sell the flares for $80+ for 2
