Its the end of a Cruiser electric hub Motor. This part I need for the hub convertions, thinking that I may need to sus out if they can be made.
Sometimes they are broken[ very hard , as if the have been tempered] when the arrive to be changed over.
May be 2mm thick.

I used some guys in Avondale , they did lazer and water cutting , just can't remember the name . But they did have a min charge about $200 . I just ended up with about 17 of what I wanted .

Try North Shore Laser Cutting Ltd 09 912 8530 :D Jono from Performance Metalworks  got me alot done there for me and it was half of what Laserstream in Avondale wanted

Kevin, you are probably looking for somewhere closer to you. I don't know of anywhere up your way, but I suspect there probably is someone there. Most good sheetmetal working places can laser cut these days.

In Chch there are quite a few, Carlton Taylor springs to mind, they are part of the Hamer Group. I am currently getting a large amount of work done thru one of their other businesses, an aluminium diecasting company.

Carlton Taylor do a lot of very accurate work for electronic assemblys, I had a look around their site a month ago.

Contact would be Jason Mangan who is their Production Engineer, jmangan@carltontaylor.co.nz or ph 03 366 9064
cheers John

Did a bit of thinking and came up with a new type of dummy motor.
One that do's not need the small plate, but is held in place with a circlip.
Thank to those that offered infomation on lazer cutting firms.
