Icreasing Tyre Size?

Post by crozmac »

Just wanting to know how people get when they increase there tyre size more than 5%
As the rule I think is anything that increases the tyre size by more than 5% has to be certified.
So what do people do to get around it?
Or are there no problem, WOF inspectors are not that worried about it or don't notice it?
As I have seen alot of people around that have way bigger tyre's than stock.
Thanks

you could just get two sets of tires- large muds, and road/wof tyres, but this could give insurance an easy way out
toymota thats stock standard.

Most insurance polisies won't cover you when you're offroading anyhow. Check your policy or ring them if you don't belive me.

Thats complete bull!!!!!
If your company wont cover you off road ring someone else or a broker. If you look in off topic there is a thread on this at the moment.

echothreezero is right. I think AMI is the only one that insures you when off road but costs extra
