Moved the prs aerial from the front of the truck up to the roof rack for better reception and more range. Nissan safari roofs are double skinned as I learnt with the drillBolted the radios down more permanently on the dash and changed a few blown bulbs.

I hate signatures
it wasn´t quite the weekend but close enough
i got my wagen back from the panel beaters today and was most impressed i did have one minor issue though
when i took it in it took off the rear door and bumper to make it easier for him my theory being less work for hime so less charges for me
unfortunately he ended up restricting access to 2 of the bolts which hold the back door in so i had to cut a hole in his great work
i should say that what he put in wasn´t there originally but it will help prevent rust around the rear light so i am going to blank the hole i made off to prevent rubbish getting in and causing rust
but now i have noticed another rust problem this one is a little harder to deal with where the rear bump stops are mounted are rather weak so i have to think about how i am going to deal with them

best solution for a merc.![]()
yes i also drive a merc to work..
not worth taking to the scrappy yet it is still worth more than scrap metal value at the moment
get this issue sorted and she will be up and running then will try and sort out the winch and after that will make a start on rebuilding the turbocharged motor already got prices on a top end gasket set for that

My girlfriend graduated on saturday , so went to the ceremony and had held a rather large part in celebration that night. So not a lot happened on Sunday
; as i was extremely hungover.
Also rescued a carload of Indians which had backed of a 1 metre high ledge and had bellied their car. It's funny how peoples perceptions of 4WDs in the city change when one is being used to rescue them out a of a predicament
Cheers
