Apparantly stupidly quick pto winches. Trying too find more info
The winch is nicknamed gods winch overseas particularly maylasia. From my understanding they are often a small car diff pumkin welded up, with an axle out of one side connected to a drum. With diff ratios being around a 4:1 ratio they are incredibly fast. If you know what you are doing you can get your wheels to spin at the same speed as the winch![]()
Celica gt4 this would be it , but he wouldn't be using the rear output for the rear axle , as the motor is turned side wise , to its normal orientation
Hes running the front drive shafts which normally go to the front wheels , to the front and rear diffs and what would be normally the rear output is running his winch . Same setup as rear engined moon buggys running front wheel drive motor and transaxles the addition here would be the third output running the winch ,
The reason he was on the limiter on the speed sections is these motor boxs have a 4 somthing to one final , so he dosn't have a dual range his basicaly running the same ratio as series 1 rockhopper gearing all the time

The only slightly tricky bit would be getting a reliable braking system sorted out to comply with winch comp rules.
