oops better introduce myself

Post by mudmike »

Hi I'm driving a yota kzj 78 prado, manual one so far done rear bar(yes it has a big arse. Done side bars. Have second set of rims with 33x12.5 muddies. will do bullbar as soon as I get a pto winch( which I'm looking for now).
Just moved back to the north island to karaka, have been in queenstown,
The yota is missing swimming in the arrow river and the snow on the old man range.
Looking to join another club up here.
Next mod is taller springs, then winch.
and lockers last if the wife lets me, or I might not tell her just say I need some new crown gears watch her phase out then do it
Keep the shiney side up and rubber side down

Do the lockers before the winch, then when you get really stuck you can say well if I had a winch I would have been able to get home for dinner dear :)

A mate did this the only problem was from that point on he had to be home for dinner if he said he would be home for dinner after a weekend outing, He went off to Aussie and now doesn't 4wd.

The problem is I have a hand winch so getting stuck with lockers means alot of hard work, Ive got the pto winch sitting here ready to go on, just having problems with finding the drive gear from the transfer box, any 70 series will fit but no one has one :( .
Thanks for the pic help, I'm a bit tech challenged.
