Hi,
when I chopped my fronts, I used a heatgun and bent / stretched the plastic inners to fit, and cut off all the bits that got in the way. At the back of the arch that wouldn't work, I used a couple of bits of 3mm treadplate aluminium to make new inners, attached using rivnuts. I'd bent the outer skin over and used rivnuts through the inner lip to attach the flares (got mine by the Metre from Truck and Bus Spares, under $100 for enough for all 4 arches, can't remember exact price), and mounted the ali. over the top of the flare rubber - wish I'd done that all the way round as it really pins the flares down nicely.
I'll try and get a photo if you want.

Likewise a photo of the flare would be nice please.

That truck flare stuff looks interesting, do you know how wide it is?
i.e how much it sticks out from the wheel arch?
Also, do you guys have any fiendish ploys to stop the wheel arches rusting after you bolt them? I was thinking tec screws with massive washers and then undo them and fill hole with gasket goo and smother tec screw then screw in again.
