trying to track down a supra motor and bits to put into my 84 hilux surf, can anyone help

Hi Monaro,
i have a 5M-GEU out of a Supra, but what its like inside is unknown so you'd probably be best to use it as spares or recon it, its all there tho ,loom ecu etc. $400

might be better off getting a 7m off trade me.

cheers guys, was shame about the monaro427 saw it up close at the sydney motor show a couple of years a go; cheers jafa i'll keep it in mind, new to the game, so would a 7m go and is the gear box bellhousing the right one,

yer 5m and 7m have the same block, u need the M series to G, or W, belhousing, ie a 5speed supra/celica manual.

send a PM to conan or supralux .think one of them have a spare one 5m-ge i think . the biggest prob.. you will have is getting a bellhousing thar are like rocking horse shit .......very hard to find . and when you do find one be prepared to fork out some coin .. on the other when you get an engine i have 2 spare 5m-ge ecm's so that will make life a bit easier . good luck

There's a celica 2000 motor 7geu igeu withe 5spd on trade me, would that motor and gearbox be suitable or not,
