Hi Mate. I could be keen on those 75mm blocks. How many have you got (I need 10) and what do you want for them?

There could be some truth to it. . I'm onto my 3rd since the Disco but I think I might settle for this one. Starting the mods now. 8) :)

I was in getting bolts at Blacks in Chch yesterday and was quoted $16.32 + GST for a 250mm length of Nylon rod to use for blocks. Cheap as I reckon. As long as you can split it yourself I doubt you will find cheaper. 8)

I've always used the Nylon blocks and its never given me any trouble.

I guess if you were doing something like a Safri the weighs a tonne then the acetol blocks would be better. They have thaty as well though. Prob slightly more expensive.

acetal wood not be the best option, nylon will swell and is very rigid so its not that flash either, the UHMWPE is the stuff we sell to 4wd upgrades.
Your car Your choice, im just telling what wot i would recomend, i have been selling the stuff for a couple of years now, not saying i know better or anything. just informing ya thats all.

its 60mm dia so weight wont be a problem.

This bloke sent me 2 x bloks to my dimensions, and 4x u-bolts to my dimensions. $78.00 on my doorstep.

Workmanship was great and the desired measurements were spot on.

I went to Ludoplas in penrose and got 8 35mm high 60mm dia UHMWPE blocks cut. It cost me honestly $28. got all the bolts from blacks fasteners for $12 with 75% discount cos they thought i was important 8). The as cut blocks were within 1mm.
I had to drill them though, and I havent got it certed yet so best take advice from some others who used same material and got cert.
Ohh yeah, watch the fan shroud.. real pain in the ass on mine, also my handbrake cable went kinked and my electric hub lines a bit short cos also did a 2 inch spring lift. and just found out today it keeps popping out of low ratio. more fun :D
So much for a 3 hour job... took a whole weekend and now i have gear lever fun :x No one else seems to have these problems....

I've done lifts on a couple of trucks and rest assured that all these problems are standard stuff. All easy fixable though eh. 8)
