Those of you who work at CHCH airport or who park their cars their should watch out.
Wednesday night after finishing late shift (2am), i leave the building with 2 others i work with and get to the car park only to find someone attempting to open my drivers door while another person had the door of my workmate's Subaru Legacy open and was fiddling with the ignition. Lucky for us we finished at that time. We didn't manage to get any license plates but there were 2 vehicles involved. A white Mtsubishi galant (1980s square shape) and a bronze hatch of unknown type.
This is along with peoples vehicles being tampered with. One person at my work had his motorbike's brakes tampered with as well as fuel stolen from the tank
If anybody sees any suspicious behaviour around chch airport like this, the airport police have been advised, ring them. Aviation Security Services have also been told.

Thieving buggers, there is far too much of it going on these days.
I work at the airport as well, few years ago we had a car stolen from the car park overnight, usual story, found a week later burnt out.
I may have a lead, I know some one from this forum who drives a gold vehicle of unknown type

What made you think I was hinting at you? don't you have an alibi, I do seem to remember that things disappear when in your care though
