Hi Guys,
I have been offered a '93 Mazda Proceed cab and a half ute, still registered, minus an engine for $500.
Just after some thoughts as to how hard it is to find the 2.6 petrol engine to go in it, or mabye another engine that i could put in without it having to be certified?
Also, do you think it would be worth going through all the trouble of getting another engine for it, and putting it back in, as well as fixing the door panel (as it wont close - been bent), for what i would get for it once its finished, and all going again, i.e will it cost me more to do the engine and dent, than buying the same thing all done??
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dick.

no not sure of avilablity but a fair few are out there so some must of been wreaked by lossers at some stage. the chassis has never changed a great deal since the 80's , as i was fitting 2005 chrome rearbumbers to my 91 model and my 89 before that so up to 2005 should interchange

slightly off topic but ..
Does anyone know if any of the mazda diesels share the same gearbox bolt parrerns . The utes had 2 and 2.2 and 2.5 diesels , wondering if a 2.5 can go into a 2.0 etc . Can't find any info on the net at all . Considering upgrading a 2.0 diesel but I thing its the RF model .
Cheers
