seen those older Toyota V8 hemi's around ?

Just curious if anyone has seen those Toyota V8 hemi's around from Jap importers , etc ? they all alloy & what was their displacement ?

be a wicked coversion into a cruiser maybe with a screw blower( whipple , autorotor , etc ) bolted on the side , what do you reckn ? curious

They are either 3.4 or 3.8l and make around 170-200hp. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. Why would you want a carbed motor? better to go for a 1uz

I bought a diff case from a guy that put one in a surf , was 3.4 . He was happy enough with it . I would go the lexus thou , has to be easier to get parts for them etc .

does anyone have any pics of these? iv never heard of them but would be keen for a look. would be way more original than a 1uz. especially if they are pushrod and carby.

They acually look pretty cool, like an old school chrysler hemi
But they dont go like a 1uz :evil:

id love to get my hands on one of thsoe and only ever run it on blocks. would be fun to rebuild myself. but yea theres nothing like smoking up the treads with a 1uz.
