I have heard that a couple of people are going to be there.

So who, and whats the plan?

Im heading over Fri night, plan to do 2 days of tracks and come home late sunday.

A few of us from Nelson 4x4 club will be Westport Qbday. Will be staying at Palm Court motel

Free on Monday for a trip - weather dependant of course in this sunny neck of the woods.

Wouldn't mind having a look up Sawpit Road (Slab Hut) here in Reefton - but looks like might need a couple of trucks - just in case "Shit Happens" as they say.

I know in the Reefton Challenge that a small section needed at least 1 x vehicle with a winch in the old quarry area.

Can get some maps of the area if needed if anyone else is keen.

Also heard today that the Suzuki Club are supposed to be descending on the Coast (Westport) area.

Seems like the country will list to the west with all the 4x4s heading that way, I also will be over that way, but further south...

I have no tracks planned, or actually have any idea what I will do. I was hoping others would be going over and could just meet up and go from there.

My cell is 021 569 467 I'll be leaving chch about 6pm ish fri night, so wont be only again after that. I'll be kicking round with Nuts most of the weekend I expect.
