So how many people / vehicles are we going to have there?
Confirmed so far I know of who are either going to be there for 1, 2 or all three days.

Probables:
Mark and Handbrake
Mr O
Turoa
Mike
Jumper
Jerry
Shell
Pajerogirl
Pookie_Boy
Cloggy
Basics
Redzuki
Doddzee
Bubba
Ryan
Sadam
Suzuki1K
Warlord
Wacko
Rob (Naenae Tyre Court)

Possibles:
Daisy - are you coming my friend? Would like to see you there.
Lilpigzuk - are you still making the trek down?
Dieselboy - are we going to see the mighty 50 in action?
Red90 - coming down to show us a real Land Rover?

There might be some more whom I have inadvertently missed, I haven't gone through all 20 odd pages of posts

If anyone needs or wants to get in contact with me my cellphone number is 021 225 0064 or if you are in Wellington and want to call my cellie for free you can do so by calling 920 5423.

Weatherwise it is either going to be brilliant or not depending on your point of view. Rain or showers forecast for Saturday and Sunday with some fine spells on Monday. That means it could become very slippery in there. Should be a bit of humour. So from my point of view the weather forecast is looking just right.

Nah, i'm piking.

The 50's not quite there yet, nearly but not quite.

Thought about just bringing the Safari with the 35's on the trailer. Then thought that if we are going to bring the trailer, might as well get a bigger trailer and tow Wopass down and split gas $$.

Then decided that the whole point of coming down was to go play in the 50, and thats not quite ready. On top of that, the some parts didn't fit for Wopass, so we made the call to pike.

 WE WILL BE THERE NEXT TIME

No worries Daisy, hopefully we get loads of pics.

And I can understand Dieselboy. It is a long way.
There will by other opportunities.
Perhaps we should look at organising a weekend in the central North Island (army training area??) so no one has to travel more than about 4 hours.

Excellent. Nice work Jerry, we are all looking forward to it. It's going to be a damned good weekend. I'll bring along the Association paper work for Sunday.

Apart from the Handbrake (I couldn't ditch her with the kids, so I guess I'm going to have to give up the drivers seat) I am bringing an extra couple of mates along on Saturday/Sunday. One is going to come out on Sat and stay the night, the other is going to come out and stay Sat night then come wheeling on Sunday. So I suspect that Sat night is going to be a lot of fun, judging by the numbers!

See you all there.

Based on information available, here are the updated estimates on prices for the whole weekend (for budgeting/clarification):

Doing Akas on Sunday
Staying overnight:
Rallywoods: 2 days @ $15, 1 day @ $10
Akas: 1 day @ $15 (add $5 visitor fee if not an assoc. member)
Total: $55

NOT staying overnight:
Rallywoods: 3 days @ $10
Aka's: 1 day @ $15 (add $5 visitor fee if not an assoc. member)
Total: $45

NOT Doing Akas on Sunday
Staying overnight:
Rallywoods: 2 days @ $15 + 1 day @ $10
Total: $40

NOT staying overnight:
Rallywoods: 3 days @ $10
Total: $30

Make sure that you bring the right amount of CASH with you to pay Cloggy on the first day you are there.

There's only one sort of cake she'd be able to bake... but we won't go there or it will destroy the Mother Teresa image that Bubba holds so dear...
