Hey guys i'm new to the whole scene but have just purchased a 1990 swb Safari, pto winch, spotlight but non-turbo (been for a drive and pulls pretty hard anyway) keen to start offroading and joining a club up here in Auckland... also know of any training days happening up here anytime soon?

Welcome mate, good to see another young guy on the site, Im 15 and just got my restricted a month or so ago, there is also turoa on here and red_zuki who are all about our age but us three are in welly :( be good to meet up with you sometime tho. Ive got a v8 landrover discovery with simex's and nissan diffs, winch, snorkel and a few other bits and peices :wink:

There is plenty of guys on here to answer any questions about Nissans, some with comp experience like mudhaw, who can tell you all about breaking hubs and other drive train bits and peices. With a shiny truck like that you'll most likely want to try somewhere without damage. There are quite a few clubs around that do plenty of shiny trips, try a few and see if you have fun.
