Clark Hall Road - Canterbury

Post by Dirkster »

Has anyone driven the Clark Hall Road betweeen the McDonald Downs Road & Okuku Pass Road? My Topo Map show a 'legal' formed road so I imagine it shouldn't be a problem...

However, I assume you'd need permission from whoever runs "The Brothers" to do the final unformed bit?

Just looks like a nice alternative to getting into the Lees Vly.

Any info apreciated.

Have driven it in from the McDonalds Downs Farm on a fundraiser and suspect these are the people you need to ask first.

I would hate to be a farmer - legal roads (paper or otherwise) in yellow

push for big pic

Not that I would barge onto the farms in duck shooting season expecting to be welcomed with open arms  interesting that one of the farms has their out building smack dam in the middle of the road - I realy like google earth. :D
